According to sources, from December 24 to January 3, corona testing was done for the passengers who came to India via airport and sea. In these, 11 different variants have been found in the passengers found infected.
Quoting sources, the news agency has informed that from December 24 to January 3, 19,227 passengers who came from abroad were tested for corona. Of these, 124 were found to be corona infected. Genome sequencing of infected people was done, which confirmed that 11 corona variants were found in them. These are all variants of Omicron. However, none of these variants are new. All these Corona variants have been found in India earlier also.
Let us inform you that, in the last 24 hours of Corona in India, 188 new cases have been reported. During this, 201 patients recovered. In such a situation, active cases have come down to 2,554. The recovery rate is 98.8%. At the same time, the daily positivity rate is only 0.10 percent. In the last 24 hours, 1,93,051 tests have been done in the country. Whereas during this period 61,828 doses of vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours. So far 220.12 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given in the country. Of these, 95.13 crore seconds, 22.42 crore are booster doses.
