The Road Transport Ministry on Wednesday notified new rules regarding the transport of children below the age of four years on a motorcycle. Under this rule, it will be mandatory for children to use a safety helmet and a safety belt (harness). Let us tell you that now the new rules of riding a bike have come. At the same time, according to the new rules, the speed of the motorcycle to carry a child up to four years in the back seat will not exceed 40 kmph. Let us tell you that all these rules will be applicable after one year from the date of publication of the Central Motor Vehicles (Second Amendment) Rules, 2022.

On the other hand, the ministry said that for children below four years of age, a safety belt or harness will be used to 'connect' them with the driver of the motorcycle.
