PM Modi welcomes Rafael by writing tweet in Sanskrit

New Delhi: Five Rafale fighter jets have arrived in India today. It came out of France and reached today Ambala Air Base. After the planes reached India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted in Sanskrit and said, "Rashtrakasamam punyam, Rashtrakarasamam vratam, Rashtrakarasamam yagyo, Dhrishto naiv ch naiv ch... Nabha sprisham deeptam... Swagatam!" "There is no more virtuous than national defense, there is no fast, there is no sacrifice." Rafale aircraft is considered to be one of the best and most wonderful fighter aircraft in the world.


After flying 7,000 kilometers from the Marignac airbase located in the city of Bordu, France, this aircraft has arrived at Ambala airbase in Haryana this afternoon. Two Sukhoi 30 MKI aircraft were received after Rafale planes entered Indian airspace. It flew to Ambala and breathed peace. As soon as the aircraft arrived, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted, "Birds have landed safely". Fighter planes in the Air Force are called 'Bird' (Bird). Rajnath Singh tweeted, "Rafale fighter jets reach India is the beginning of a new chapter in our military history." These multi-purpose aircraft will increase the capacity of the Indian Air Force unprecedented.

The Modi government signed a deal of Rs 59,000 crore on 23 September 2016 with French aerospace company Dassault Aviation to buy 36 fighter aircraft. Earlier the UPA government had been trying to procure 126 mid-multipurpose fighter aircraft for the Indian Air Force for almost seven years, but that deal was not successful.
