New Delhi: The NIA has gathered enough evidence during the investigation against suspended DSP Devendra Singh in aiding the tankers. NIA sources told that a charge sheet of this case will be filed in the NIA court next week. According to information received from the sources, the NIA has collected complete evidence against 8 people in this charge sheet. According to sources, in this charge sheet of about one hundred and fifty pages, the NIA told how the suspended DSP Devendra Singh was helping the terrorists. Its entire raw letter will be presented by the NIA in the court.

According to information received from NIA sources, those named in the charge sheet include Devendra Singh, Syed Naveed, Mushtaq Shah, Irfan Safi Mir, Rafi Ahmed Rather and Syed Irfan. A charge sheet will be filed against these 8 people for helping terrorists, possessing weapons and conspiring. DSP Devendra Singh was arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police on 11 January 2019 on Jammu-Srinagar Highway. Devendra Singh was riding in a car, he was accompanied by Hizbul Mujahideen's dreaded terrorist Naveed Mushtaq and Arif and Lashkar's overground worker Irfan Ahmed.

Devendra Singh was trying to take these three out of the Kashmir from the eyes of the security forces. After interrogating Naveed, the police arrested his brother Irfan in January. After this, after the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the NIA took the investigation into this matter on 17 January. The NIA also arrested a Kashmiri businessman doing business from across the border.
