When the pandemic broke out in 2020, Nidhhi Agerwal had spent most of her time  helping out those in need by extending financial aid and distributing food packets. But this time around apart from amplifying calls for beds on social media, she is starting her own website, where people who are in dire need of help can register their requests.

“The second wave is more serious than the first wave, and it hit me only when so many of my close family members tested positive in the last couple of months. That’s when it struck me how the situation would be for others, who are struggling to even meet their basic needs,” so, I decided to come up with a website, Distribute Love, where people can register their needs, and our team will reach out to them immediately,” she says. Nidhhi has two teams in place — in Chennai and in Hyderabad — and the Eeswaran actress has also tied up with a few charitable organisations for the same.

she and adds, “ I’ve already been buying rations and medicines and getting them home delivered to people with the finance I have, but I want to extend it to even finding beds, oxygen supplies… any kind of need that people would have.” On the other hand, Nidhhi is also trying to find calm in the storm by keeping her body and mind active.  ''I also exercise and dance every day to keep my mind focused. and watching a lot of films to stay calm,”.
