Amritsar: In view of the serious condition of Corona in Delhi-NCR, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has announced new restrictions in the state on Wednesday. Night curfew has been imposed again in all cities and towns of the state. The penalty will be doubled for not wearing a mask or not following social distancing from December 1.
All hotels, restaurants and marriage palaces in Punjab will be closed at 9.30 pm. There will be night curfew from 10 am to 5 am. A spokesman for the Punjab government has said that for not following the Corona guidelines, a fine of up to Rs 1000 will be imposed instead of Rs 500. The night curfew will be reviewed on 15 December. In view of the influx of Delhi patients in Punjab, it has also been decided to review and optimize bed availability in private hospitals of the state.
CM Amarinder has asked Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan to work with the concerned departments so that it can be helped by more private hospitals for treating Corona. To further strengthen the availability of oxygen and ICU beds, CM Captain Amarinder Singh has issued instructions to strengthen L II and L III. Along with this, continuous monitoring was ordered in those districts where L III facilities are not available.
