Nikki Tamboli has become popular with Bigg Boss 14, the country's biggest and popular television show. She was able to take her place in the top 5. Nikki Tamboli and Jaan Kumar Sanu's friendship was also discussed a lot in Bigg Boss' house. Jaan started liking Nikki in the show but she was seen teasing him as Bhaijaan. 

Fans loved the chemistry of both but Nikki has refused to date Jaan. Nikki says that Jaan is not of her type. In a recent interview, Nikki Tamboli has categorically denied that she is not in a relationship with Jaan and has even said that Jaan is not of her type. Nikki told in an interview 'Jaan and she is good friends. She is very sweet but she is not of my type. I like people who have strong personalities. Those who speak their words boldly and often make people feel uncomfortable.

Nikki further said"There is no doubt that Jaan is very sweet but I think his personality is not strong enough to take a stand for himself and maybe his friends as I have never seen him doing this in Bigg Boss. He will certainly be a strong personality in his eyes, but I have never seen him like this, we are only good friends". In Bigg Boss 14, Nikki used to harass Tamboli Jaan as Bhaijaan though he told her that he likes Nikki.
