Chennai: The impact of the second wave of corona virus is not yet completely over in the country. Meanwhile, another virus has started spreading its legs. A case of Nipah virus was recently registered in Kerala, now a case has also been reported in Tamil Nadu. According to the District Collector of Coimbatore, a case of Nipah virus has been found with him. All kinds of precautions are being taken. Now whoever is coming to the government hospital with high fever will be properly examined.

The Nipah virus shocked everyone when a 12-year-old boy died in Kerala on Sunday. The 12-year-old was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala, but succumbed to his injuries. This is also a matter of concern for Kerala as the latest corona wave here has worsened the situation. Out of all the cases coming up in the country, 70 percent are coming from Kerala alone. Kerala alone has about 2 lakh corona active cases.

Let us tell you that the Nipah virus was first spotted in Malaysia in 1998. Many cases of this were reported in West Bengal, India, in 2001. It is as deadly as the coronavirus, although it does not spread by air.
