New Delhi: In the case of Nirbhaya, which has been going on continuously for the last 8 years in Delhi, a new twist is seen again. At the same time, AP Singh of Nirbhaya convicts has once again started a new trick to avoid the hanging on 3 March 2020. He very cleverly left Pawan's case in the middle and said that he should be given another lawyer. When the court gave Pawan another lawyer, Pawan did not talk to him. When only three days were left in the execution, AP Singh again became Pawan's advocate and did something so that the execution of the hanging on March 3 is almost certain. Out of the four convicts, Pawan is the only one who still has the legal option of curative petition and mercy petition. The three are hanged on March 3 and the third death warrant was issued on 17 February. So many days have passed but Pawan did not use any of his legal options and now when 3 days are left, along with the petition to postpone the execution, the curative petition was also put in the Supreme Court. This is all a trick of Pawan's lawyer.

According to the information received, it has been learned that the first lawyer AP Singh refused to contest Pawan's case, then the court provided the new lawyer Ravi Kazi to Pawan. It is also being said that Pawan later refused to meet Ravi Kazi and did not use the remaining options. Finally, advocate AP Singh again took Pawan's case in his hand and filed a curative petition so that the hanging of the four convicts on 3 March 2020 would be postponed. Actually the rule is that if any plea of anyone convict is pending, then the four convicts cannot be hanged.

It is being said that taking advantage of this loophole of the law, AP Singh has come to the end and put this petition so that the hanging of the culprits is postponed for the third time. However, all eyes are now on the hearing to be held in the Supreme Court on 5 March 2020. In which the court will decide whether the culprits will be hanged separately or together. At the same time, if the court decides to hang together, the hanging of the culprits can be postponed till the end of March. The reason for this is that curative petition has been put up now, then mercy petition will be filed. The rule is that the convict gets 14 days after the mercy petition is rejected by the President. Only then it can be hanged. In this case, the hanging of the culprits can be postponed till the end of March.
