New Delhi: Nirbhaya is going to hear on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, in the Supreme Court on the reconsideration petition of Akshay Kumar Singh, accused in the rape and murder case. It has been learned that the Bench of CJI SA Bobde, Justice R Bhanumathi and Justice Ashok Bhushan will be heard on this petition. Where the statement of Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi has come before the decision of the court. Nirbhaya's mother has said that we believe we will get justice because we have no other option. But if Kuldeep Sengar (convicted in the Unnao rape case) and Nirbhaya's four accused are hanged, a strong message will go in the society.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that Akshay's lawyer has argued that due to pollution, the life of people in Delhi is getting reduced, so his death sentence should be reconsidered. The bench will also hear the plea of the victim's mother.
