After the 'Nisarga' cyclonic storm knocked in Maharashtra on Wednesday, the government of Madhya Pradesh has also become alert. In view of the storm, an alert has been issued for Indore and Ujjain divisions of the western region of the state to be prepared to deal with the emergency.

In fact, an official of the Meteorological Department told in this regard that 'Nisarga' can enter Madhya Pradesh from Khandwa, Khargone and Burhanpur from Maharashtra between 7 am and 11 am on Thursday. However, before its arrival, rains have started at some places in the state. He also informed that the effect of 'Nisarga' in Indore and Ujjain divisions can continue for the next two-three days. During this time, there may be heavy rain with thunder, strong wind and thunderstorm and lightning can also fall in many places. He further informed that due to the impact of 'Nisarga, strong winds are expected to run at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour in some areas of the western region of Madhya Pradesh. However, according to the forecast, the intensity of the cyclone is likely to be less in Madhya Pradesh than in Maharashtra.

On this subject, the Public Relations Department of Madhya Pradesh told that the officials in Indore and Ujjain divisions have been asked to alert citizens about the dangers of cyclonic storms through sound amplifiers and social media. Be fully prepared to deal with a possible natural disaster. Government procurement of wheat and gram from farmers is still going on in some centres of both these divisions of Madhya Pradesh. In this case, instructions have also been given to store the purchased grains at safe places. Meanwhile, District Magistrate Manish Singh has told in a meeting in Indore regarding Hurricane 'Nature' that according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the effect of the cyclonic storm can be seen in the district between 11 am and 1 pm on Thursday. The District Magistrate has appealed to the people to stay in their homes.
