Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked JD(U) parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha to quit the party. In fact, the way Upendra Kushwaha has been showing anger against Nitish Kumar for the last few days, Nitish Kumar has advised him to leave the party.
On Monday, Nitish Kumar said on the question of calling a party meeting in Patna on February 19-20 by Upendra Kushwaha in Banka during Samadhan Yatra, "If someone comes to our party and then leaves, then they have to leave the party." Nitish Kumar, who is looking very angry with Kushwaha these days, reminded how Kushwaha had left JDU twice and came back again.
Nitish Kumar said, "I moved Upendra Kushwaha forward in politics and made him an MLA, but even more so he left the party. When he returned to JDU, I made him an MP in the Rajya Sabha, but after that he left the party again." Now for the third time he has come. I don't know what has happened in the last 2 months. I have been asking him to talk but he is not talking.' Nitish Kumar attacked the BJP in gestures after Upendra Kushwaha took an aggressive stand. He said, "When we won the elections in alliance with the BJP in 2019, we had demanded four cabinet seats, but we got only one. Only given If someone is speaking against me everyday, it makes it clear that he has already made up his mind with the other party (BJP)."
