We all know that tomorrow we are going to conduct a by-poll in Telangana. This is the first big poll since last year's local body elections. All political parties are ready to take each other in the by-election to nizamabad local bodies MLC constituency. Polling will be held from 9 am to 5 pm on October 9, while results will be declared on October 12.
The main by-election to Nizamabad tomorrow is all political parties ready to compete with others. It should be noted that the official poll campaign, which ended on Wednesday evening, was free of physical interaction due to the Covid-19 epidemic. TRS candidate and former MP K. Kavitha is taking a clear advantage over its rivals, with the ruling party holding 60 per cent of the voters with elected representatives from urban and rural local bodies in the last Nizamabad district. Along with Kavitha, Congress's V Subash Reddy and BJP's P Lakshminarayana are also in the election field.
It should be noted that a total of 824 voters from various local bodies in former Nizamabad district have come from the ruling TRS, as per the electoral rolls. Of the local bodies, 140 are from congress, 84 from BJP, 28 from AIMIM and 66 independents. The TRS strength rose to about 80 per cent of the votes after the elected representatives and independents from the opposition parties joined the party. The party is also getting support from 28 voters from AIMIM.
