Mumbai: Like many parts of the country, Dharavi of Mumbai is also moving fast towards victory in the war against Corona. Once in Dharavi, one of the world's most high-risk Covid-19 hotspots, no new case has been registered on Friday. This is the first time since April 1 that no new case has been registered in this slum area.

In this very densely populated slum area, not a single new case of corona was revealed on Friday. There are only 12 active cases here. Spread over an area of about 2.5 sq km, Dharavi has a population of over 6.5 lakhs and is considered the largest slum area (slum) in Asia. The first Corona case of Corona was reported on 1 April in the densely populated Dharavi, and after this, continuous cases were filed in the area.

However, several reports have revealed that residents of Dharavi cooperated with the health authorities to ensure the systematic implementation of corona restrictions — guidelines, isolation and care. On the other hand, active cases in the country have reduced to 2.81 lakh at this time. The Health Ministry said on Friday that the number of cases filed every day in cases of corona infection is declining, due to which the number of active cases is also decreasing.
