The government has issued orders that government schools can no longer have extra classes during holidays. Also, teachers will not be called during this period. The Education Department had issued orders to impose additional classes from January 1 to February 12 during the winter holidays following poor results of pre-board examinations.

After the issuance of this order, teacher organizations had given strict warnings to immediately withdraw it or suffer the brunt. Himachal Government Teachers Association had announced that no teacher of the state can teach an extra class during winter vacation. It is noteworthy that the department had issued a decree in the winter schools under which, from January 1 to February 12, the schools were asked to impose remedial classes to vulnerable children on the basis of pre board results.

Teacher leaders said that the department issues any kind of notification without thinking anything. But does not think of the ill effects that come from it. In all arguments, the government was asked to immediately withdraw this order. After which the government has now withdrawn the order and said not to apply extra class during the holidays. Even before this, teachers had made changes in the winter holidays.
