Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was on a visit to Varanasi on Saturday i.e. June 3. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples. Along with this, he also reviewed the ongoing development works as well as the law and order situation in Varanasi and gave necessary instructions to the officials.

According to the report, CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the law and order situation and while reviewing the law and order situation, he advised the officials that no mafia or criminal person should get any contract for any work. CM Yogi asked the officials to strictly implement it. He also said that this should be ensured. CM Yogi Adityanath also inquired about the ongoing preparations for the G20 meeting to be held in Varanasi from June 11 to 13.  CM Yogi Adityanath gave necessary guidelines to the officials to strengthen the traffic system and expressed concern over the condition of cleanliness.

After the meeting of CM Yogi, information was given in this regard by issuing a press release on behalf of the administration. Varanasi Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma briefed CM Yogi about the ongoing projects. He said that at present, work is going on on 61 projects of the central and state government in the city. The estimated cost of these projects is Rs.103.05 crore.
