According to a report received, a general meeting on Ekta and Shobha's salary was held on August 31, the decision of which came to light on September 2. As a result, voting was also held to decide whether the salary of Ekta and Shobha should be increased or not. 55.4 percent of votes were cast against Ekta's salary hike, while 56 were against Shobha. 7 votes were cast. Most surprisingly, a small group of public shareholders participated in the voting.

According to the report received, the promoter group, which has a 34.34 percent share in the company, stopped its voting and refused to be a part of it. Not only that, but the report also says that Reliance Industries, which has a 24.92 percent stake in Balaji Company, also did not participate in the voting of this particular proposal. It is a matter of great surprise that neither the promoters nor those who had a high percentage share in the company participated in the voting and the proposal to increase the salary of Ekta and Shobha on the basis of public shareholders' voting was canceled.
