Recently, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said, "Leagues aged 45 years and above will not get the vaccine today and tomorrow and today only a limited number of people will be vaccinated at only 5 places in Mumbai city. People in the age group of 18 to 44 years will be vaccinated only if they receive messages after registering on the Cowin app.'' In addition, he said, "People in the age group of 45 to 60 years will be given priority for the second dose at vaccination centres. The vaccination centres will continue to work as they get the vaccine.''

He further pleaded with the people not to visit the Corona Vaccination Centre unless the message is received on mobile. He said, "People who have registered on the Cowin app and received a message can go to the vaccination centre but if you have registered and you have not received the message, you should not go to the vaccination centre.''
