'Not Going to Bend...', CM Kejriwal's New Allegations on BJP

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a significant claim on Sunday, stating that he is being pressured to join the BJP. This assertion comes amid an investigation into allegations of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) engaging in MLA poaching. Kejriwal affirmed his steadfastness, stating, "They can hatch any conspiracy against us; I am also firm. I am not going to bend. They are asking me to join BJP, then they are going to leave me alone. But I said that I will never go to BJP, I will never join BJP, not at all."

During the foundation stone-laying ceremony of a school in Rohini, Delhi, Kejriwal accused the BJP-led Centre of allocating only 4% of the national budget to schools and hospitals, contrasting it with the Delhi government's allocation of 40% of its budget annually to these sectors. He highlighted the alleged targeting of AAP colleagues Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain, emphasizing their contributions to school and hospital infrastructure.

Kejriwal urged the audience to continue supporting him with love and blessings, stating that he does not desire anything else. These statements from Kejriwal followed Delhi Police serving notice to AAP Minister Atishi in connection with the MLA poaching claims, reinforcing the party's accusations that the BJP attempted to poach seven of its MLAs. Kejriwal himself received a notice from the police, prompting him to join the probe and disclose the names of AAP MLAs allegedly approached by the BJP.
