Lucknow: All political parties are engaged in preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. While the opposition parties are united against the BJP's central government and trying to form a grand alliance again, the BJP is claiming to get a majority again. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav's uncle and Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party chief Shivpal Yadav have claimed that he will come to power by contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, he has also talked about keeping a distance from SP this time.

Actually, on Tuesday, Shivpal Yadav reached Karhal town of Mainpuri to express condolences on the death of the son of Rameshwar Dayal, the owner of Janta Rice Mill. Due to this, on contesting the Lok Sabha seat of Mainpuri, he said that we cannot even think of contesting elections from here under Netaji. We want Netaji to be healthy and fight elections. We had won them earlier also and if we contest elections now, we will win this time also.

He said that our party's organization is ready for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections. We will fight elections and also come to the government. Our party's organisation is ready in 75 districts. We will meet on September 16. On the question of an alliance, he said that time is still far away. When 6 months will be left, then only which party to form an alliance with will be decided. Shivpal Yadav said that he has been cheated three times by the SP. All our party workers have decided not to go with SP anymore. On the question of alliance with BJP, he said that when 6 months will be left, then it will be decided. In the municipal elections of UP, our party will fight with its election symbol.
