Nagpur: The Nagpur police has given a clean chit to Maharaj Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, in connection with a complaint filed by the Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti. Police have said that there is nothing like superstition in the videos. The police have sent their written reply to the complainant of Shyam Manav, chairman of the Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti. Actually, Pt Dhirendra Shastri's 'Shriram Charitra Charcha' was held in Nagpur. Against this, the Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti complained to the Nagpur police. The committee had accused Pt Dhirendra Shastri of promoting superstition and witchcraft.

On this complaint, Nagpur Police has sent a reply to the Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti after an investigation. In this, the police gave a clean chit to Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. In its report, Nagpur Police has said that on seeing the video, it has become clear that it contains material related to the propagation of religion, and there was no such thing as superstition in it. Bageshwar Dham is located in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Here Maharaj Dhirendra Shastri sets up a 'divine miraculous court'. Here he claims that he can read everyone's mind. People who come there write their problems on a slip and Pt Dhirendra Shastri writes their problems on his slip without telling them. Pt Dhirendra Shastri organized 'Shriram Charitra Charcha' in Nagpur in January. This story was to go on till January 13. But it ended on January 11. It was told that this happened due to the complaint of Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti. The committee had accused Pt Dhirendra Shastri of promoting superstition and witchcraft.

Shyam Manav, chairman of the committee, said, "Dhirendra Shastri promotes 'witchcraft' under the guise of 'Divya Darbar' and 'Pret Darbar'. He also accused Pt Dhirendra Shastri of looting, cheating, and exploiting common people. The Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti also challenged Pt Dhirendra Shastri that if he sets up a divine court among them and performs miracles, then they will give him Rs 30 lakh. The committee says that the meeting held by Dhirendra Shastri under the name 'Divya Darbar' violates two laws. The first is the Maharashtra anti-superstition law of 2013 and the second is the Drugs and Remedies Act of 1954. However, on these allegations, Dhirendra Shastri claimed that he is not spreading any superstition nor removing anyone's problems. Since then, there has been a war across the country over Pt Dhirendra Shastri's claims. Some people are calling it an issue of faith, while some people are questioning Dhirendra Shastri by calling it superstition.
