Due to the threat to their lives due to the large Muslim population of this area, the Hindu community has now started migrating from here. People are increasingly evacuating their homes. All this is happening after Muslims attacked and pelted stones at a procession of Hindus on the occasion of Ram Navami on April 10, 2022. On the eve of Ram Navami, the houses of 70 to 80 Hindus were attacked here in the attacks and stone pelting by radical Muslims. A large number of Muslims living there pelted stones here for two hours, due to which the local Hindus are now in a panic. According to a local, Muslims had also thrown petrol bombs at his house, which was saved due to the presence of a steel roof. About 200 Hindus living here are scared due to the tension in the area.
According to a local, after this violence in the area, those people who want to vacate this place are living in panic, but there is no place for them to go. Some people have even taken shelter in local temples. They are forced to live without water and food. Another local resident here expressed his pain and said, "We are only 60-70 families, whereas they (Muslims) are about 2000 families. Whenever they attack, we are neither able to protect ourselves nor can we equal them. That's why we're going. Some people had also said that Muslims had also pelted stones at the police team. One person accused the police action of being rigged, saying that instead of giving security to Hindus, the police officers were wrongly detaining them.''
Another local resident alleged foul play in the police investigation. He said that instead of giving security to Hindus, the police officials are taking them into their unjust custody. At the same time, one of the victims has said that on April 11, 2022, fans and gas cylinders were stolen from their house and shop amidst stone-pelting in the Hindu area. After the incident, the police took action and arrested four people. People have also alleged that during communal violence in the evening and night, a frenzied mob threw petrol bombs at them.
