Kaimur: There is such a unique temple in Kaimur district of Bihar, which people call Bhoot-Pret Mukti Mandir. A fair is held here where the court of ghosts is decorated. Exorcists come and drive away the evil spirits from the heads of people. This temple is present in Chainpur of Kaimur district and its real name is Harsu Brahmadham. After coming here, as told by the Ojha, people buy the items of worship along with incense, lights and camphor.

Then the process of exterminating the ghosts starts in the temple premises. People flock here for treatment. According to people, whoever comes to Baba's court never leaves empty handed. According to the local people, Harsu Brahmadham is also called the Supreme Court of Ghosts. Every year thousands of devotees come to this Dham and take the name of Baba after driving away the evil spirit from their body. If the priest Yogendra Pandey is to be believed, then a fair of ghosts is held here for 650 years. Apart from Bihar, people from Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and many other states of the country reach the Dham.

In the same temple premises, apart from worship and tantra mantra, special worship is organized to drive away the ghosts. It is said that a trust has been formed for this temple. The secretary of the trust, Kailash Pati Tripathi, told that at the time of 1428 AD, there was the rule of King Shalivahan here. Harsu Pandey was the minister and royal priest of King Shalivahan. King Shalivahan was not having a son. Thereafter, Harsu gave him various suggestions. Even advised him to get married again. The first wife of the king was from Rajasthan. Then the king married a princess of Chhattisgarh, from whom he got a son. Since then, with the attainment of a son in the temple, people started coming here to get rid of the ghosts.
