The state government will now deliver oxygen by air to the cities, which is going to meet the oxygen shortage soon. The decision was taken at a team 11 meeting on Saturday. CM Yogi Adityanath has directed arrangements for oxygen airlift from Hindon for western UP. He has told the officers that the government aims to try to save the life of every covid infected person. For which all possible efforts can be made, they should be done with utmost honesty.

He said two empty tankers are going to be sent to Bokaro by air to fetch oxygen. These tankers will then be brought to Lucknow by train. The Government is also running the Oxygen Express. The first consignment of oxygen from Bokaro has been transported to Lucknow. The train has left for the second consignment.

DRDO hospitals to be operational in Lucknow and Varanasi by 30: DRDO initiative with the state government to win the covid war is scheduled to be held in front of the people by April 30. The CM said two corona hospitals being constructed by DRDO in Lucknow and Varanasi will be commissioned by April 30. A lot of work on both hospitals has been completed. These hospitals will start treating experienced doctors for covid infected people.
