Cooking has become even more expensive now due to the increase in the price of cooking gas. The price of domestic cooking gas cylinder has now gone above one thousand rupees. Everyone is worried about the increase in prices. Indian Oil Corporation is now also giving an option of LPG cylinder. IOC has also launched a solar stove for indoor use. The special thing about this stove is that it is also being used at night. This solar stove is going to store solar energy from the panels installed outside the house, so that without sitting in the sun, you can cook food for free for 3 times a day.
In a program organized at the residence of Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, food cooked on this solar stove can be served. Puri said that the cost of purchasing this chulha as well as maintenance cost is not there and it is being seen as an alternative to conventional fuel. The research and development department of IOC in Faridabad is also being developed.
Will not have to be kept in the sun: IOC Director (R&D) SSV Ramkumar has said that this stove is also being named 'Surya Nutan'. Ramkumar has said about this that this stove is different from the solar cooker. This is because it does not have to be kept in the sun. Surya Nutan Chulha can easily cook three meals for a family of four.
Works like this: There is no need to keep the Surya Nutan stove in the sun. This stove is connected to the solar plate on the roof through a cable. The energy generated by the solar plate comes to the stove through cables. With this the sun moves new. The solar plate first stores the solar energy in a thermal battery. For this reason, Surya is also cooking food with new in the night.
Price will be very low: IOC has just launched the initial model of Surya Nutan. The commercial model is yet to be launched. At present, it has been tested at 60 places across the country. According to the IOC, the price of Surya Nutan will be between Rs 18,000 and Rs 30,000. The government will also give subsidy on this. After subsidy, its price is going to be between Rs 10,000 to 12,000.
