New Delhi: From April 1, rapid preparations have started in connection with updating the 2021 census and the National Civil Register across the country. Both these processes will start in the whole country and they will run till 30 September. This information has been given by the Union Home Ministry after the conference of directors appointed for the census campaign. In which according to Home Ministry officials, the work of listing the houses is going on these days. The preparations for the campaign were reviewed and expressed satisfaction at the conference held on Thursday.

The main topics discussed in the conference include the changes in the jurisdiction after the 2011 census and the finalization of the statutory towns and census towns. The status of urban agglomeration, creation of special charges and training of census personnel at snowfall areas, state and district levels were also discussed. Along with this, presentations were made on behalf of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Apart from these, other states will give a presentation on the status of preparations for this on Friday. Tell all of you that along with preparing the list of houses, the National Population Registrar (NPR) will also be prepared.

In the survey, along with numbering of the houses, information will be taken of the family members including the head of the house. Name of common resident, his / her relationship with the owner of the house, father's name, mother's name, spouse's name (when married), gender, date of birth, marital status, place of birth, nationality (declared), permanent and temporary address This will include information on temporary address, duration of residence, occupation and educational qualification. This time information of Aadhar card number and mobile number will also be taken. This time census also collects detailed and accurate information about economic activity, literacy, housing and residential facilities, urbanization, birth and death rate, caste, language, religion, migration, disability etc. in the population of the country. Based on this, the progress of the country is known in the last ten years and the upcoming government schemes are prepared on the basis of data obtained from this census. Last time the census was done in 2011, now the census will be in -2021.
