Telangana traffic police are now in action, as they recheck to drink and drive, they have started checking for an unauthorized vehicle. In an attempt to control the entry of unauthorized vehicles and provide additional tool for township safety, the National Thermal Power Corporation-Ramagundam has launched a Gate Management System based on Artificial Intelligence (AE) at its township gate. NTPC-Ramagundam & Telangana Executive Director Raj kumar on Monday formally inaugurated the new facility and examined its performance.

The advanced AI enabled object/vehicle detection model detects vehicles when entering the gate through camera streams. RFED (Radio-Frequency Identification) readers identify authorized (vehicles withRFEDtags) vehicles. Also, it will glow a warning (visible and listenable) when theడి ఆర్RFEdreader does not detect the vehicle by the camera stream. The number plate is also captured and stored.

However, the program was conducted with the intention of eliminating unauthorized vehicle entry to the state. Apart from this, traffic in the state is also limited. General Manager (O &M) Abhay Kumar Samayar, GM (TS) PK Lad, AGM (CSR-HR/ Head of HR (Incharge) Rafikul Islam and others were present on the occasion.
