Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals, got an Honorary Doctorate from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, during the university's 22nd and 23rd annual convocation ceremonies, according to a press release. The Governor of Andhra Pradesh congratulated Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy on earning the World Endoscopy Organization's 'Lifetime Achievement Award.'

The felicitation was done by the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Biswabusan Harichandan, who is also the Chancellor of the University.

During his visit to Raj Bhavan on Thursday, the Governor presented Dr D Nageshwar Reddy with a memento and shawl, saying that the award is yet another feather in Dr Nageshwar Reddy's crown and that the people of Andhra Pradesh are proud of his accomplishment.

The University awarded Dr. Reddy an Honorary DSc (Doctorate of Science) in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of medicine throughout the years, while offering inexpensive and accessible healthcare to people from both Telugu states, according to a news release.

At the Raj Bhawan, the Governor also congratulated Dr. Reddy on receiving the World Endoscopy Organization's Lifetime Achievement Award and gave him with a souvenir and shawl.
