NEW DELHI :  New Zealand National Cricket Team pacer Adam Milne has decided to pull out of the upcoming ODI series against Pakistan National Cricket Team and India National Cricket Team. New Zealand National Cricket  has named 29-year-old Blair Tickner as the replacement for Milne in the ODI squad for the upcoming series.

The right-arm fast bowler missed two Ford Trophy games in December after having a delayed return due to a strained hamstring that kept him out of the most recent home series against India.

Even though he participated in the Firebirds' first two Dream11 Super Smash matches, the idea of playing six ODIs in as little as 16 days in both Pakistan and India was deemed to be too risky.

As a result, it was decided by both parties that Central Stags speed bowler Blair Tickner, who is currently in Pakistan with the Test team, would take Milne's place.

Gavin Larsen, a Blackcaps selector, said the choice wasn't simple.

Adam expressed his worries to us honestly regarding the lack of one-day bowling loading for the forthcoming tours, according to a statement released by Larsen on Monday.

"After speaking with him, we determined that his pre-tour preparation was insufficient for him to handle the demands of consecutive, three-game ODI series.

"We value his candour and his sincere desire to uphold the team's reputation." With the duration of the home summer, Milne will continue to play for the Wellington Firebirds when he is able.

Tickner, who has played in six ODIs, was deemed a ready replacement by Larsen.

"Blair is a similar prospect to what Adam provided us because of his ability to hit the ball hard and bowl through the centre.

The fact that he is already in Pakistan and is familiar with the circumstances is a plus. On January 4, the Blackcaps' ODI players leave for Pakistan.
