Another big announcement was made at the inauguration of 1152 two BHK flats with The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K.T. Rama Rao. He said the construction of 1lakh houses in 111 places in Hyderabad at a cost of Rs 9,714 crore was being completed at a fast pace. The Minister reiterated that the double bedroom dignity housing scheme is a kind of initiative in the country. Houses can meet the needs of urban households and have excellent community infrastructure such as roads, canals, street lights, water supply, community hall and commercial center, he said.
Addressing the people after opening the double bedroom complex essay in Hyderabad, the Minister said that the opposition leaders who are thinking about where one lakh houses were built in Hyderabad will be sent to the details of the locations of 2 BHK houses along with photographs. "But if the opposition leaders close their eyes and say they are unable to find these houses, we cannot help them," he said.
However, The SAIH as admitted that lakhs of houses were not enough to cover all eligible applicants in Hyderabad and suggested that it was a continuous process. Former Chief Minister N.T.Rama Rao said that the weak housing scheme in former Andhra Pradesh had been launched and later, the Congress and other political parties-led governments also built houses. "People are well aware of match-sized homes and the frauds committed by these leaders," he said.
