Ghaziabad: An incident of gang rape of a minor student studying in Class XI has come to light in the Sahibabad area of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The student was raped by 5 men on the pretext of playing Holi. The victim's family reached the SSP office on Saturday and lodged a complaint.
The victim alleges that on the pretext of playing Holi, five men forcibly entered her house and all of them took her hostage and committed the gang rape. The victim's family has also accused the policemen of not taking action in the case. They said that when they went to the police station with their complaint, the policemen there refused to register a case, after which they were forced to come to the SSP's office.
The victim lives with her maternal uncle in the Sahibabad area. Her parents have passed away. It is alleged that after taking the hostage, the boys also assaulted the girl. In the incident, the police said that initially, the girl's family had lodged a complaint of assault. Now gang rape is being reported. On which action will be taken only after investigation.
