Model commits suicide: Her dead body has been found hanging at Saraswati's house in Kolkata's Kasba area. Police have initiated action in the case. In the initial investigation, this case of suicide comes to light. Saraswati was a makeup artist by profession. She was trying to become a model. On May 29, Bharti Mallick (Saraswati's maternal aunt) called the police and informed them about her niece Saraswati's dead body hanging from the bedroom fan. Bharti Mallick has said that Saraswati's dead body was brought down by her grandmother. After which Saraswati's body was taken to CNMC Hospital by relatives. But Saraswati's life has been lost even before reaching the hospital.

Police investigating the case: Saraswati was taken to sleep with her maternal grandmother in the bedroom. About 1 night. At 30-2 a.m., Saraswati's grandmother got up to go to the washroom. After coming back, they have not found Saraswati's room. When she went to the other bedroom, Saraswati's body was found hanging on the fan. Saraswati had made a noose from the scarf. Her maternal grandmother immediately brought Down Saraswati and has reached the hospital. Saraswati's phone has been seized by the police. No suicide note has been received by the police from the spot so far.

During interrogation, it has been revealed that Saraswati had been living with her mother Aarti Das at her maternal uncle's house for 17 years last year. Saraswati's mother separated from her husband 17 years ago. Saraswati had left her studies after class 10. She used to give tuitions and is doing modelling work. Some reports say that in recent times, Saraswati was under stress about her relationship. Now it will be known in the police investigate whether there was tension in their relationship behind Saraswati's death or something else. Earlier, the case of suicide of three more models is being heard. Saraswati's case is the fourth. These frequent incidents have shocked the people.
