Punjabi as well as Hindi popular movie industry singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh was born on January 6, 1984. Diljit is celebrating his 38th birthday today. Diljit has been spreading his flames in the Punjabi industry since its inception. Now Diljit has won the hearts of fans with his acting in Bollywood as well. Not only songs but he has also acted in Bollywood movies.

Diljit Dosanjh hails from Dosanjh Kalan village under the Jalandhar district of Punjab. His father's name is Balbir Singh and his mother's name is Sukhwinder Kaur. Diljit's father is a retired worker of Punjab Roadways. Diljit also has a younger brother and an elder sister. Diljit spent his entire childhood learning Dosanjh art. After which Diljit had gone to Ludhiana to study. Here Diljit had decided to pursue his singing career with his studies.

Diljit entered the acting world through the 2011 film The Lion of Punjab. His movies 'Jatt and Juliet' and 'Jatt and Juliet 2' broke all the records of Punjabi films.
