Another BJP worker beaten to death in Bengal, Sayantan says, '121 workers martyred so far'

Kolkata: BJP activist Gokul Jena has been beaten to death in Itaberia area of Bhagwanpur assembly constituency of Kanthi in West Bengal East-Medinipur district. In the case, BJP leader Sayantan Basu has accused Trinamool Congress (TMC) of murder.

The husband of the TMC Panchayat member of the locality was infected with corona, in view of which Gokul Jena instructed him to stay at home. The corpse of Gokul Jena was then found injured in a forest in the area. The body of Gokul has been found, making it a guess that the assailants have beaten him with sticks. BJP leader Sayantan Basu has accused TMC of killing Gokul. He said that TMC is playing violence and blood politics in the state, in which their 121 leaders and activists have died, even after the police are keeping quiet and not taking any action against the killers. If something is working, it is only to delay the matter.

Sayantan Basu also said that the NDA coalition government has been formed in the neighbouring state of Bihar, now it is the turn of Bengal. In Bengal also, the BJP is going to come to power. After the BJP government is formed, everybody has to give an account. On the issue, the Bengal BJP wrote on its Twitter handle that the BJP booth activist Gokul Jena were brutally murdered by the TMC goons of Kanthi Bhagwanpur assembly. His crime was that he urged the husband of a TMC Panchayat member affected by corona to stay in the house. '
