India is fighting corona and the anti-national antics are being carried out on the other side. Recently anti-India activity has been seen in Jammu and Kashmir. Regarding which, in its statement, the police said that a 65-year-old woman was killed and another seriously injured on Wednesday in heavy shelling from Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. A police officer said that the cross-border firing in Balakot and Mendhar sectors started at around 2 am, in which vigorous retaliation was carried out by the Indian Army.

In his statement, he further said that two women Resham Bee and Hakam Bee were seriously injured in Pakistani shelling in village Lanjot and were rushed to the hospital. However, Resham Bee later succumbed to her injuries, while Hakam Bee was referred to the Jammu hospital for special treatment.

A defense spokesman said that Pakistan started violating the ceasefire unprovoked by firing with small arms and intense firing with mortars at 2 pm. The spokesman said that the cross-border shelling from both sides continued for 45 minutes. He said that the casualties of Pakistan's retaliation were not immediately known.
