New Delhi: Online registration has been postponed for Indian devotees to visit the holy Sikh gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. Online registration was to begin from Sunday to see this holy Gurudwara. Let us tell you that Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara is located in Narowal district of Punjab province of Pakistan, which is located 4.5 km from the border near Dera Baba Nanak. This Gurudwara is considered very sacred for Sikhs because Guru Nanak Dev spent 18 years of his life and his last time here too.

Earlier, Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI) President Govind Mohan had said that "the 4.2 km long Kartarpur corridor will be constructed by 31 October, a week before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism." The LPAI president said that 5,000 pilgrims can visit the gurudwara daily and they will return the same day. Clarifying this, Mohan had said that the pilgrims will have to visit Kartarpur Sahib on the day of crossing the Indian border.
