Netherlands: The F22 has been introduced for the international markets by the Dutch company Donkervoort with a starting price of €245,000. (Rs 2.12 crore approx). The Roadster will be produced in only 75 units.

The slim supercar has a minimalistic aesthetic reminiscent of its predecessor, the D8 GTO. The company insists that it is a new vehicle. It is powered by Audi's 2.5-litre inline-five engine.

Donkervoort Automobileen BV, also known as Donkervoort, is a privately owned and operated business that specializes in building lightweight but legal supercars for the road.

By offering vehicles without electronic components like power steering, ESP, or even ABS, the brand hopes to deliver the most thrilling driving experience. The F22 bears the name of Philippa Donkervoort, the first child of CEO Dennis Donkervoort.

A tall, sculpted bonnet with useful air vents, swept-back LED headlights with DRLs, a raked windscreen, and a wide air dam all characterize the Donkervoort F22's exterior design.

The supercar gets ORVMs, butterfly doors, flared wheel arches and 18-inch and 19-inch designer alloy wheels on the sides.
Options at the rear include a diffuser and wraparound LED taillights.

The 2.5-litre, liquid-cooled, inline-five petrol engine powering the Donkervoort F22 produces 492 horsepower and 640 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed "TKX" manual transmission. The supercar has 667 horsepower per tonne power to weight ratio.

The interior of the Donkervoort F22 features a carbon fiber dashboard, racing-style "Recaro" bucket seats, automatic climate control, a removable carbon fiber roof panel, and a multifunctional steering wheel wrapped in leather.

A digital instrument cluster and an optional iPad infotainment system have been kept in the Roadster.
For the safety of passengers, airbags and six-point harnesses are used.

The Donkervoort F22 is available for purchase in Europe at a starting price of €245,000. (Rs 2.12 crore approx). The price can go up to €100,000 with additional accessories (around Rs. 86.88 lakh). Only 75 examples of the lightweight supercar will be made.
