New Delhi: BMW has unveiled the M340i and XM models for 2022 in India with prices starting from Rs. 69.2 lakh and Rs. 2.6 crore (ex-showroom), respectively.

The latter is a flagship model for the German manufacturer, while the former is a facelifted performance-focused sedan.
Each vehicle receives M-specific styling updates.

BMW is focusing on bringing its flagship product, the new XM hybrid SUV, to our shores after unveiling the special 50 Poison M Edition line-up of automobiles.

This shows the dedication of the German automaker towards the Indian market. Critics and customers around the world rank the M340i and XM as two of the best performance-oriented automobiles out there.

A long, sculpted hood, a sloping roofline, adaptive LED headlights with L-shaped LED DRLs, the iconic kidney grille, 18-inch double-spoke alloy wheels and LED taillights are all features of the 2022 BMW M340i.

A 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and multi-colour ambient lighting are all included inside the five-seater cabin.

Engine power is provided by a 3.0-liter inline-six engine with a mild hybrid system (369 hp / 500 Nm).

The 2022 BMW XM features a polarizing design language along with a muscular hood, a large kidney grille with copper-coloured surrounds, split-type LED headlights, 23/22-inch designer alloy wheels and quad exhaust tips.

It gets head-up display, ventilated seats, two-tone dashboard, Nappa leather upholstery and ADAS features on the inside.
It is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine and an electric motor (644 horsepower / 800 Nm).

The flagship XM hybrid SUV is priced at Rs. 2.6 crore in India, while the high-performance BMW M340i is available for Rs. 69.2 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Both the vehicles currently have open order books.
