In India, only Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got special protection group (SPG) security. Let me tell all of you that pm Modi's security costs Rs 1.62 crore every day. This was informed by the Union Home Ministry in a written reply in Parliament. In fact, in 2020, DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran questioned in Parliament how many people in the country have got SPG and security provided by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). In response, Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy had said, "At present, only one person has SPG security. However, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs did not mention prime minister Narendra Modi's name that only he got the security. 592.55 crore was allocated for the year 2020-21 for SPG security.

Last time, when a fund of Rs. 540.16 crore was allocated for the SPG in the Budget, four people got SPG security, that is, rs. 135 crores was spent on the safety of one person. Let me also tell you that after stepping down as Prime Minister, there will be SPG security for 5 years and then it will be withdrawn.

What is SPG Security - The first vehicle of Delhi Police Security Staff in the Prime Minister's convoy is to run with sirens. This is followed by the SPG vehicle and then two vehicles. This is followed by two vehicles from the right and left which provide security to the prime minister's car running in the middle. Special Security Team (SPG) personnel are deployed to protect PM Modi. More than 1,000 commandos are deployed under various cordons to protect them. At the same time, SPG commandos live around the PM and accompany him at a public event. During this period, any commando is thoroughly investigated before deploying him under the protection of the PM.

The Prime Minister's personal security guards are stationed in the second line of the security cordon. They are also as trained and skilled as the SPG who are able to prevent any untoward incident. The third security cycle consists of the National Security Guard (NSG). In the fourth round, there are semi-security force personnel and police officers from different states. When the PM goes to a State, it is the responsibility of the State Police to provide external security as well as prevent any untoward incident. The fifth cycle of security is home to vehicles and aircraft equipped with some state-of-the-art technical facilities with commando and police cover. All these vehicles are equipped with high capacity military weapons (arms ammunition).

If there is a ground or air strike on the PM's convoy, it can be easily dealt with through them. In fact, they are able to respond to any chemical or biological attack. PM Modi travels by a high-security bulletproof BMW 7 car and his convoy carries two such dummy cars simultaneously to confuse the attacker. At the same time, a jammer-equipped train is stationed in the PM convoy. Which consists of two antennas. In fact, they are able to defuse explosives placed at a distance of 100 metres on either side of the road. On the other hand, pm is always accompanied by an ambulance which runs with the objective of providing medical facilities to them in case of any emergency. On the other hand, whenever the PM walks, he is followed by plainclothes NSG commandos.
