New Delhi:- Two months after launching for iOS, ChatGPT is now available for pre-order for Android users who want their ubiquitous chatbot on the go. If it's as popular as the iPhone version, we can expect big numbers in the coming weeks.

Of course, mobile users can access his ChatGPT and other of his OpenAI tools through her web interface, but the superior experience of the dedicated app has proven very compelling to say the least.

The ChatGPT app for Android appears to be almost identical to the iOS app in terms of functionality. In other words, it offers most, if not all, of the features of the web-based version. You should also be able to sync conversations and settings across devices. So if you have an iPhone at home and an Android at work, no problem. 

Of course, the two mobile operating systems are different in many ways, so they're not exactly the same. For example, Siri and Shortcuts were added to the iOS app in June, but Android users are likely to get the same, though the transition apparently won't happen.

OpenAI said on Twitter that the Android app "will be available to users next week," possibly first in the US. No plans have been announced for other countries, but similar plans are likely to be announced in the coming weeks or months.
