There are also 12 nominated members in the house, of which 8 are in support of BJP. It is also being said that in November, one Rajya Sabha seat going to the BJP account is getting vacant in Uttarakhand and 10 from Uttar Pradesh. While 6 seats are getting vacant in Maharashtra. It also includes the seat of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. 6 seats are getting vacant in Tamil Nadu. 5 seats are being vacated in West Bengal and Bihar. While 4 seats are getting vacant in Gujarat, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Congress will get one or two seats from allies: Sources say that the Congress is confident that it will win about 9 seats on its own, while it will get one or two more seats from the account of allied opposition parties.
