Opposition demands in all-party meeting, Farooq Abdullah gets permission to attend the parliament session

New Delhi: In the all-party meeting held in the Library Building of Parliament before the Winter Session of Parliament, the representatives of all the parties gave their opinion on the important issues raised during the session. Leaders of several parties including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal were present in this meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi.

The meeting was also attended by Ghulam Nabi Azad and Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary from Congress, Derek O. Bryan and Sudeep Bandhopadhyay from TMC, Satish Chandra Mishra from BSP, Chirag Paswan from LJP, AAP MP Sanjay Singh. During this period, most of the opposition parties demanded inclusion of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah and former Union Minister P Chidambaram in the Parliament session.

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad also demanded that former Jammu and Kashmir CM and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and Congress veteran P Chidambaram be allowed to attend the Parliament session. On this, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that the court will take a decision on Farooq Abdullah, not the government. Ghulam Nabi Azad also questioned the detention of Farooq Abdullah.
