Today is the last day of lockdown in the country. The fifth phase is going to start from tomorrow. In the fifth phase of lockdown in Indore city, the central region is going to be tightly guarded. However, the outside area (which is placed in zone-2) will get relief. In the zonal plan of the administration made to open the lockdown, in Zone-2, the grocery, TV-mobile and laptop repairing, center and electric fittings will be allowed to open other important shops. It will be monitored for seven to eight days. The most dangerous area in terms of infection is in Zone-1.

Collector Manish Singh said that this area will have to be closed for now. However, there is preparation to open grocery, milk shop here. Dispatch of goods will be allowed from shops in this area. In Zone-3, there is an area of 29 villages in the corporation border, where relief has been given regarding industry, trade etc. The decision will be taken after discussing every aspect in the District Disaster Management Group meeting on Sunday. Lockdown was followed by people in most areas of the city. This was the reason that it remained safe from Corona for three stages of the lockdown, but after getting the discounts in the fourth lockdown, the infection also reached there. Now the administration has withdrawn the exemption given in Betma, Depalpur and Gautampura after the corona cases came up in rural areas. In areas where the administration is giving exemption, people are not aware about the escape from Corona. Neither physical distance is being followed properly nor sanitizer is being used. Due to this, now cases of infection are increasing.

The villagers close the roads coming from the city due to this reason so that the rural areas will be safe. The city has been under lockdown for 65 days, yet the infection cases have crossed 3,000 which has become a matter of concern. In the fourth lockdown, the administration has now announced a waiver. In this way, another round of transition will begin. The administration is also assuming that the cases of infection will increase after getting the exemption.
