New Delhi: New cases of coronavirus are creating a new record every day. More than 86 thousand new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. The number of corona infections in the country has crossed 4 million. Increased testing is attributed to the increased cases of corona infections, but the opposition is trying to corner the government on the issue.

In a tweet, veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister P Chidambaram has targeted the government. Chidambaram has taken over the government, saying that the only country in the world that is not taking advantage of the lockdown strategy looks like India. He has also attacked PM Modi. Chidambaram has said that PM Modi had promised that we would kill the coronavirus in 21 days.

Chidambaram said PM Modi should explain why India failed when other countries succeeded in lockdown. In a tweet, Chidambaram said, "I predicted that by 30th September, the number of infections would reach 55 lakh, I am wrong. India will reach that number by September 20. By the end of September, the number can touch 65 lakh. '
