Shane Watson and Suresh Raina set Chennai Super Kings chase on the lifeless Feroz Shah Kotla track against Delhi Capitals to help the defending champions script their second win in a row in IPL 2019. The MS Dhoni-led side defeated Delhi by six wickets to go atop in the points table. Dhoni too played a key role for Chennai in the run chase to 148 with his calculated innings. And guess who was cheering for the CSK skipper from the stands - his daughter Ziva. Cheering from a distance and amid the loud Delhi crowd, Ziva's 'papa, papa' chants must have been clear for her father. Chennai Super Kings captured the moment and shared it on their Twitter page with the caption: "Paaapaaaaa, comeon papaa!' What better than cheering for your dad at his workplace?! #Ziva #WhistlePodu #Yellove #DCvCSK"

Shikhar Dhawan's half-century in the match was the only highlight in Delhi Capitals' sub-par total of 147 for six. Despite a promising start from the two openers, followed by two thirty-odd partnerships in the next two stands, Delhi's intention of a good 180-run target was torn apart by Dwayne Bravo who snared three wickets to restrict the hosts to the total of 147/6. Bravo's wicket included the dangerous Rishabh Pant who was dismissed for 25 off 12. Against the target, Chennai was expected to be affected by the slowness of the pitch, but Watson (44 off 26 balls) and Suresh Raina (30 off 16 balls) evaded the problem with positive intent to guide CSK to the victory with two balls remaining.

"The wicket turned more than expected in the first innings. In the second innings there was enough dew to make it slightly better for the batsmen. The bowlers did a very good job to restrict them to 150. The batsmen, we like a bit of pace, and like it to come onto the bat. We look a slightly better side when that happens. We were unsure about the Chennai wicket whether it will spin or be on the slower side," said Dhoni after the match.
