Boy killed the whole family due to PUBG addiction

Lahore: A 14-year-old boy allegedly shot dead his entire family, including his mother and two minor sisters, "under the influence" of the online game PUBG, in the capital of Pakistan's Punjab province. Last week, 45-year-old health worker Nahid Mubarak was found dead along with his 22-year-old son Taimur and two daughters aged 17 and 11 in Lahore's Kahan area. On the other hand, in this case, the police said in a statement, "The woman's teenage son turned out to be the murderer and now he is the only person left in his family.''

At the same time, the police further said "The boy addicted to PUBG (Player Unknown Battleground) confessed that he had killed his mother and siblings under the influence of the game. Playing online games for a long time in the day has caused her to have some psychological problems.'' Police said Nahid was a divorcee and often scolded the boy for not paying attention to his studies and spending most of his time playing PUBG. Apart from this, the police also said "Even on the day of the incident, Nahid scolded the boy over this. Later, the boy pulled out his mother's pistol from the cupboard and shot him and his three other siblings in their sleep.''

In a statement issued in the case, it was said, "The next morning the boy raised an alarm and the neighbours called the police.'' At that time, the boy told the police that he was on the upper floor of the house and did not know how his family was killed. At the same time, the police also said that the licensed pistol was kept by Nahid for the safety of his family. According to the information received in this case, the boy had thrown the weapon into the drain after executing the incident, from where it could not be recovered yet.
