Islamabad: Pakistan is currently reeling under floods. Nearly one-third of the country is submerged in floods, affecting crores of people. In this major disaster, a Hindu temple in the Kutchi district of Balochistan emerged as a ray of hope. About 300 people, mostly from the Muslim community, have found shelter in this temple. In fact, Jalal Khan village of the Kutchi district of Balochistan has been badly affected by the floods. The floods have destroyed the homes of the people here. In such a situation, the people here have taken shelter in the temple of this village. Many Muslim families of the village have taken shelter in this temple.

According to reports, this small village of Balochistan has been cut off from the entire province due to floods in the Nari, Bolan, and Lahari rivers. People trapped in the heavy floods could not see any support. In such a situation, the Baba Madhodas temple here opened its doors to help the flood victims. This temple was built by Saint Baba Madho Das. Since this temple is located at a considerable height, therefore, the flood water has not reached here. Ratan Kumar of Bhag Nari tehsil of Kutchi district is in charge of this temple. Ratan Kumar has told about this temple, 'There are more than a hundred rooms in the temple. Every year a large number of devotees from Balochistan and Sindh come here. This temple has also been damaged by the floods. However, the basic structure of this temple is safe. So, help is being given to the flood victims.'

According to the report, about 300 people and their animals have been sheltered in this temple. In this, most people are Muslims. All these are being looked after by Hindu families. Initially, the area was completely cut off from the rest of the areas. During that time, the victims were being given a ration by helicopter. But, now that all the people have gone to the temple, all arrangements are being made by the local Hindus for them. Hindus are a minority in Pakistan. There are reports of atrocities on Hindus every day. Hindus face atrocities like rape, murder, and religious conversion. Recently, during the floods, a minor Hindu girl was called and gang-raped on the pretext of giving her ration, after which fundamentalists also broke the eyes of the girl so that she could not identify the culprits. But, in the midst of all these atrocities, the way the Hindus of Pakistan have given shelter to Muslims and are helping them a lot is a wonderful example of humanity.
