Islamabad: Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has made a big statement saying that the rule of free hits in cricket has opened up a new path to corruption. He said all cricket boards, including ICC, should consider this. He tweeted about it on which fans all over the world are also giving their opinions.

Tell us that the rule of free hits in cricket started in 2015, according to this rule, if a bowler throws a no-ball, the ball bowled after a no-ball is called a free hit. On free hits, batsmen can only be run out or stamping out, and any other way out is not considered out. Free hits are usually used to play big shots, as it is not afraid of being caught out.

Latif took to his Twitter handle to express his opinion on the free hit and wrote, 'Getting a free hit on a no-ball is the most important rule of law in cricket. The rule has a big window of corruption'. Latif also tagged ICC, IPL, BCCI, PSL with his tweet. In most cases of fixing, it has been observed that players often take money and throw no balls, after which the batsman gets a free hit.
