Islamabad: Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif is going to honour a truck driver in Islamabad. Muhammad Faisal, an oil tanker driver, is being called a 'hero' in Pakistan, who drove away from the crowd of people while driving a burning tanker. It saved many lives. "This spirit of saving the lives of thousands of people by risking your life is less than appreciated," Shehbaz Sharif said, adding that Shehbaz also directed the driver to call and show respect for his courage.

According to media reports, Balochistan CM Mir Quddus Bijenjo has also announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for the courage of the truck driver and for saving the lives of the people. According to a statement issued by the Balochistan CM's office, Bijenjo praised the courage and bravery of the driver. A special award has been announced for him. Now Muhammad Faisal will be honoured by calling Islamabad. Salman Sufi, head of Shehbaz Sharif's Strategic Reforms, said in a tweet, "Very soon the driver will be in Islamabad," adding that "the CM of Balochistan has already announced the award for him." According to his qualifications for the truck driver, a government job will also be announced by the Balochistan government." Several Pakistani politicians have praised the truck driver on Twitter.
On Wednesday, Faisal had fled with a burning tanker from a populated area on The Kambarani Road in the provincial capital to save thousands of lives. It looked exactly like a movie scene. A fire broke out in Faisal's car at a petrol pump, after which Faisal took it away from the crowd. After the video of Faisal's driving went viral, he said, "I had a feeling that the oil tanker would explode and I would die."
