Former Pakistan legislator sought asylum in India, Imran's party gave this statement

Peshawar: A minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan said on Tuesday that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has no problem or objection to a former party member and MLA Baldev Kumar seeking political asylum in India. Please note that Kumar came to India with his wife and two children last month and he is currently living in Khanna in Ludhiana district of Punjab.

Kumar has said that he left Pakistan because minorities are 'deprived of their rights there'. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Information Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai recently told the media on this that wherever Kumar wants to live, he enjoys its freedom. Please note that Kumar worked as PTI president in Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for three years.

In this case, Yusufzai further said, Baldev Kumar has nothing to do with PTI, as he was suspended from the party for his alleged role in the murder of Sardar Soran Singh, who was the special assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2013 to 2018 and Earlier, Kumar had told reporters in Ludhiana that Pakistan supports terrorism and even Muslims are not safe there.
